Dealer to Dealer Swaps unlock a new way of accessing and gaining more control of the cash invested in on-hand, in-store inventory.  Given the relatively low margin on firearms, the option to “swap” Dealer-to-Dealer is available in this safe and controlled online membership platform. 

This is a communication platform designed to connect dealers.

Note: All swaps have a “Value” that is proposed and then may or may not be mutually agreed upon prior to acceptance. The real benefit of Swaps is NOT to provide profit margin, but rather to dispose of and acquire products. Here, you are simply gaining access to the cash you have invested, putting you in a position to offer better inventory you can then sell to customers.

The best inventory management tool for FFLs!

FFLStockSwap is a web based platform where FFLs buy / sell / trade / barter (we refer to it as “Swapping”) with their fellow FFL dealer members for on-hand inventory (firearms, ammo and optics) to unlock and leverage their hard-earned cash that’s tied up in inventory for a better mix of products they can then sell to customers to achieve better margins. 

This is a powerful tool because until now, FFL dealers have only been able to attempt to manage the cash they have tied up in inventory by acquiring more or better products from distributors (or a buy group maybe), and improve their inventory to sell to their customers.  FFLStockSwap members have much better control of inventory!

Access to a business-to-business (B2B) communication channel providing the ability to search for, identify and then swap products from the “Big Five” categories of UPCs including firearms, ammo and optics.

Only Federal Firearms Licensees are permitted to be members on FFLStockSwap.

Because this service is exclusively for FFLs.   Anyone who applies who is not an FFL, will be denied.  All applications for membership will be reviewed by FFL Stockswap to confirm the applicant is in fact an FFL.  Typically, an application for membership is processed within one business day.  If you’ve not heard from us within one business day, contact us at info@fflstockswap.com or call  833-355-SWAP 

Monthly memberships are based upon the number of UPCs posted. You can adjust quantity on each UPC and it doesn’t impact your inventory limit.

During the application or membership process, you’ll select a membership type—and you can upgrade or downgrade at any time:

1. Dealer — up to 20 active UPCs
2. Dealer Plus — up to 100 active UPCs
3. Dealer Pro — custom pricing

Upon launch in January 2024 and for a limited time, we offer monthly memberships for dealers that meet certain qualifications. Memberships start at $39 per month, with custom pricing available for larger inventory needs.

When we fully release the platform in Spring 2024, we will offer memberships for manufacturers starting at $299 per month. This offering will connect manufacturers directly to dealers.

All membership types have no limit on the number of swaps—our goal is to be the best tool for improving your inventory.

Yes, at any time. Once you reach your inventory cap, you’ll receive a notification in the platform that you’re at or approaching your inventory limit—but you’ll be able to upgrade at any time! The prorated charge of the upgrade for the remainder of the billing month will be charged to your card immediately, and you will be charged at the upgraded rate during the next billing cycle.

• FFLStockSwap puts power in the hands of members—once a swap is agreed to, all transaction are dealer-to-dealer, including payment, shipping and logistics.
• FFLStockSwap does not require the use of a specific credit card processor for membership.
• FFLStockSwap does not post or Swap, and does not ever possess inventory.

In the past, FFLs have secured inventory from distributors—a handful of middlemen with substantial buy-in that require an ongoing commitment—or through a buy group… if you qualify. FFLStockSwap members can Swap for cash or goods at, above or below cost to improve product mix and manage inventory. Because these transactions are business-to-business, members benefit most when they agree to Swap at or near their cost. It’s up to the members to agree, all with the intended result that profit occurs where it should: retail customer sales.

Upon membership approval and account activation, FFL StockSwap members can:

• Post products they have available to Swap
• Search for products to propose a Swap (including options for cash and/or on-hand inventory)

Monthly membership dues are automatically recurring.

Members have the right to terminate their subscription at any time for any or no reason. The termination will be effective upon the next renewal date with no refunds or prorations.  

Messages, product listings, posts / listing information, transaction history, member profile information and other member information may be deleted from the site at any time after membership has been terminated.

Yes, at any time. Your membership will remain active at the current level until the end of the billing cycle. You will be charged at the downgraded rate upon your next payment. No credits or prorations will be provided.

Yes, you may terminate at any time. The termination will be effective upon your next scheduled renewal date (you won’t be charged again) and you’ll have full access until that date.

FFLStockSwap improves a dealer’s control of their inventory and allows them the ability to manage the cash they have invested in it. Most FFLs have some products they want but can’t find through their normal channels. In a given market, certain manufacturers are more popular than others.  

Example: XYZ brand may not be a strong seller in Texas, but is popular in Missouri. Posting on FFLStockSwap will help the Missouri FFLs find popular products and free up inventory dollars for the Texas dealer, who may be able to:  

• Find a new or hard-to-find products for customers’ unique or special order
• Improve regular inventory product mix
• Communicate with other FFLs without the need to avoid certain keywords, phrases and symbols 
• Buy in bulk and quickly Swap in the event of the next supply/demand imbalance

FFLStockSwap is not involved with shipping. Shipping costs are paid directly to the carrier you mutually agree with the other party to use, and are paid by the agreeing parties.

If cash is included in a proposed swap, that payment is not made through the FFLStockSwap site. Both involved parties agree to the payment and shipping methods directly with one another and independent of FFLStockSwap.

Membership fees recur monthly, but Swaps, including all products, shipping costs, logistics and compliance-related matters are the sole responsibility of each member. In short, no transaction fees are charged by FFLStockSwap, as we are only enabling communication between parties and publication of inventory.

Nope. Members pay a monthly fee, and that’s it.

Once a swap is accepted, both members will receive a notification via email that will link them to the details of the accepted swap within the platform—where they can see details about all swaps at any time. When a swap is marked as ACCEPTED, both users can see relevant details include shipping and payment information. Users then complete the swap independent of FFLStockSwap—we’re not involved in completing swaps at all. That’s 100% up to the platform members.

As a communication platform designed to connect its members, once a mutually acceptable agreement has been reached to “Swap,” it is considered “Accepted.”  Both parties will receive an email notification containing the pertinent information of the other member to work out the details of shipping and or payment.

FFLStockSwap does not process payments for products nor does it take possession of any products at any time.

FFLStockSwap is not involved in any aspect of the exchange of products, funds, shipping, consideration, currency, warranty, condition of products or any other aspect of a Swap. This is a communication channel for FFLs to market, connect, communicate and then agree to a Swap that will take place off the channel directly between the members. In accordance with the terms and conditions of membership, members are solely responsible for the exchange, any disputes, and resolution arising out of activities with other members.

If sufficient evidence is presented to FFL Stockswap proving unprofessional and or nefarious conduct, a membership may be limited / suspended or terminated.

Technically you could, however the value of FFL StockSwap is to unlock and leverage cash you have tied up in on-hand inventory. In normal cases, we advise against this practice, except in cases where you have the ability to buy a product that another member can’t and want to swap that item once received.

The use of UPCs will dramatically improve the search results and functionality of the service.   Otherwise, search is the same as any online site through a categorized search bar and filter options.

A notification of the proposed swap will be sent to the other member who will have the option to do one of the following: 

• Accept: both members receive a notification that the swap has been accepted, and they coordinate the sending of money and/or product(s) accordingly
• Counter: the member who receives an unacceptable swap offer can alter the components and “counter” the proposal
• Decline: if no agreeable offer can be made or if inventory has changed unexpectedly, the user can decline the offer 

Any user that has sent a swap has the option to Cancel a swap any time before the swap has been accepted. The cost of included items is expressed within the Swap details as “value” which may or may not be agreed upon by both parties.

No. FFLStockSwap is for members who have gone through the application process that confirms their status as a dealer licensed by the ATF. Only members will have access to the portions of the site containing information about products.

Search is the same as any online site through a categorized search bar and filter options.

Protip: the use of UPCs will provide the best search results.

Never. Only FFL dealers who apply and are approved for membership and our executive team have access.
